Membertou First Nation
720 Modular is working in partnership with Membertou First Nation on a comprehensive multi‑building modular housing and community facilities program in Membertou, Nova Scotia. The program consists of five modular buildings delivered across multiple sites, addressing a range of housing and community needs, including long‑term rental housing, supportive housing, sober living, and an addictions treatment facility.
The program includes a mix of 4‑unit, 6‑unit, 18‑unit, and 28‑unit residential buildings, along with a 24‑bed addictions medical treatment centre, designed to support wellness, recovery, and long‑term community resilience. All buildings are being delivered using volumetric modular construction, allowing the majority of work to be completed off‑site while reducing schedule risk and improving cost certainty.
The Membertou program demonstrates how modular construction can be scaled across a community to deliver housing, health, and social infrastructure efficiently—supporting Indigenous‑led development priorities while maintaining high standards for durability, accessibility, and energy performance.
